The Journal of Econometric Methods welcomes submissions in theoretical and applied econometrics of direct relevance to empirical economics research. The journal aims to bridge the widening gap between econometric research and empirical practice. We aim to publish papers from top scholars in econometrics, but submissions must (i) consider a topic of broad interest to practitioners and (ii) be written in a style that is targeted at practitioners. Subject to these requirements, the journal will consider submissions in all areas of econometrics. 
 
We will not consider submissions that are application-specific. While econometric methodology should be thoroughly illustrated with empirical data, such methodology should be useful above and beyond the specific application considered. 
 
Research article submissions should make a significant contribution to the existing econometrics literature. This contribution can consist of new methodology, new theoretical results, new computational methods, comparison of existing methodologies, etc. 
 
Upon acceptance of their paper, authors are required to provide any data and computer programs so that readers can replicate results and utilize the econometric methods for their own research. Papers will not be published until these materials have been made available. 
 
In addition to traditional research articles, the journal will also publish contributions to its "Practitioners’ corner" and "Teaching corner" sections: 
 
Practitioners’ corner: This section will publish "how-to" and survey papers for practitioners. Papers in the section can include: detailed treatments of specific econometric methods not covered extensively (or well) elsewhere, surveys that bring empirical researchers up-to-date on quickly developing research areas, etc. 
 
Teaching corner: This section will publish papers that are directly useful for econometrics instructors at the undergraduate or graduate level. Papers in the section can provide datasets (with completely worked-through analysis) that help instructors to illustrate specific models and/or methodologies. Papers in this section can also provide other tools for instructors, including novel suggestions for presenting certain material, simulation designs, etc.

Journal of General Management is quarterly peer reviewed journal, with a mission. The mission of the Journal of General Management is to provide thought leadership by publishing articles on managerial practices with organisation-wide or cross-functional implications. We seek original theoretical and practical insights into general management in all types of organisations.  
We are global in orientation and welcome submissions rooted in empirical research or novel business solutions in all fields related to general management including (but not restricted to): strategy, leadership, corporate governance, international business, decision-making, change management and corporate social responsibility. We also seek articles written from a functional perspective such as finance, marketing or supply chain management, provided these demonstrate links to cross-functional and general management topics. We aim to increase the relevance of developments in individual disciplines for general managers. The journal seeks to advance knowledge as to the multi-disciplinary nature of management and fulfil three objectives: 
 
1. To help top managers understand the salient economic, social, political and technological issues that affect the success of their organisation, and their abilities to act;  
2. To keep senior executives up-to-date with new developments in the theory and practice of general management; 
3. To foster new thinking, research, and the exchange of experience between academics and policy-makers across the world. 
 
We consider papers that build or expand general management theory as well as research that tests theories. In particular, we invite papers dealing with current management debates and cutting-edge business solutions. The journal is open to research based in conventional as well as emerging quantitative and qualitative methodologies.  
 
A Brief History of JGM 
Professors Keith MacMillan and Bernard Taylor founded the Journal of Business Policy - forebear to the Journal of General Management - in 1970. Their aim was to provide a focus for the study and research of the function and responsibilities of top management. The occasion for the journal's founding was an International Seminar on Teaching and Research in Business Policy held at the University of Bradford. Taylor and MacMillan also edited a book with the title Business Policy: Teaching and Research (New York: Wiley, 1973). 
In 1972 both men moved from Bradford University to Henley Management College (now the Henley Business School, University of Reading). Henley was known for its focus on General Management and, in order to broaden the Journal's appeal to practicing managers, the journal's name was changed from Business Policy to the Journal of General Management. 
 
The focus, which had begun with an exclusive emphasis on 'the function and responsibilities of top management', was broadened to include a wide range of topics pertinent to the pursuit of managerial excellence - the journal has catered to the modern manager's need to be knowledgeable in a wide range of fields, flexible and virtuosic so as to have the agility to switch easily between handling matters as diverse as strategy, reputation, finance, and HRM. The excellent general manager must, to borrow a metaphor from a JGM article (Remenyi, Grant, Pather, 2005), be able to change colours with the same ease as a chameleon alters its skin.  
JGM is therefore aimed at the practitioner or researcher who appreciates the importance of research with practical implications, global reach, and a broad vision of the general manager's complex role. 
 
The Journal's Contribution 
The JGM has helped to focus the attention of executives, consultants, teachers and researches on Leadership, decision making and organisational change at the top of businesses and other organisations. Over the years, articles have focussed on themes such as:

JSCAN is an international peer-reviewed journal for research and theory about practices that challenge the status quo in strategic contracting and negotiations, and the commercial implementation of business strategy or policy. JSCAN also addresses the impact of contracting and negotiation on trust and ethics in business. Contracting and negotiation have become core to organizational and inter-organizational relationships, irrespective of sector or industry, and of national or international boundaries. 
 
Mainstream research and theory in contracting (which draws primarily on concepts developed in law and economics) and negotiations (again drawing primarily on law and economics, along with psychology), has advanced our understanding of both areas; but modern complex global operations require more holistic understandings. The social sciences offer significant theoretical and empirical insights to supplement legal and economic insights for complex, multidimensional views of current practice in this vibrant organizational area. Effective management of projects, organizations and human relations at both local and global levels requires stepping beyond simple disciplinary models and approaches. As a cross-disciplinary endeavour drawing on the social sciences, JSCAN aims to lead the wave of change concerning theory, research and the practice of strategic contracting and negotiation. 
 
The focus of the journal will primarily be in the following areas:

• Works that advance our understanding of contracting and negotiation as relational process, including but not limited to work that considers power and politics, trust, human relations, rules, and ethics in contracting and/or negotiation.

Local, universal, world-historical, world-systemic, or global historiographies as well as work in sociology, anthropology and international relations have shed increasing light on the common history of humankind. Only comparatively recently, however, has human global self-awareness broken through the confines of scholarly specialization, and begun to enter the everyday popular life, action, psyche, imagination and consciousness on a mass, global scale. The step into space and the resultant view of the planet, the new computer and media technologies of mass communication, the global spread of multinational corporations and human rights, the unprecedented environmental changes and challenges, the promise and threat of nuclear power and explosions, all have led to the increasing self-experiencing of the globe as a "spaceship earth."  
 
Many scholars and policy makers from different areas and academic disciplines have directed their efforts to trying to understand globalization. These efforts tend to be piecemeal and specialized, staying within particular disciplinary boundaries. This journal exists to address the process going on around us as a whole, and developing over time. It addresses globalization with a holistic perspective, a perspective that gives us a view on the past and present of the globalizing phenomena that will be invaluable to all who seek to comprehend this fundamental aspect of our society and its development.  
 
Our focus is unabashedly on the new globalization that has manifested itself so vigorously in the period starting sometime after World War II. Starting from this relatively contemporary perspective, we are fully aware that the new globalization process, or processes, is on a spectrum with earlier forms of globalization. There are deep roots in the past that must be explored along with attention to the present flowering of the concept, when the idea of globalization became a conscious matter, partly suggested by the widespread use of the term itself.  
 
Nevertheless, and in contrast with most historical journals, our primary emphasis is on the twentieth and twenty?first centuries. Our field of interest is both multidisciplinary and global rather than particular in that we are concerned with contemporary globalization per se and not merely with the extent to which it (or its progenitors) has had an impact at specific conjunctures. Thus New Global Studies interprets globalization with a historical and sociological angle as opposed to history or sociology with a global angle.  
 
We welcome articles on all aspects of globalization, embracing the economic, social, cultural, political and other ramifications of the subject, both theoretical and empirical. In particular, we encourage analyses of the following subjects:

Organization & Environment aims to publish rigorous and impactful research on the management of organizations and its implications for the sustainability and flourishing of the social, natural and economic environment in which they act. Given the fact that the journal is online, authors are not asked to limit themselves to a set word or page count for full-length papers. In order to improve scientific communication within the field of Peace Science and Peace Economics, the journal also publishes 'Letters,' to provide accounts of new original research. Letters generally do not exceed 2,500 words in length, exclusive of equations, graphs, and figures. Letters can concern either theoretical or applied work, and will be subject to the peer-review process. In order to make a decision in a short time reviewers are asked to give an 'accept/reject' evaluation, without further comments. 
 
Peace Economics, Peace Science and Public Policy was founded in 1997 by Walter Isard, Professor Emeritus of Economics and Regional Science at Cornell University, and widely recognized as a founding father of Peace Science studies. The Review of Marketing Science (ROMS) is a peer-reviewed electronic-only journal whose mission is twofold: wide and rapid dissemination of the latest research in marketing, and a one-stop review of important marketing research across the field, past and present. 
 
Unlike most marketing journals, ROMS is able to publish peer-reviewed articles immediately thanks to its electronic format. Electronic publication is designed to ensure speedy publication. It works in a very novel and simple way. An issue of ROMS opens and then closes after a year. All papers accepted during the year are part of the issue, and appear as soon as they are accepted. Combined with the rapid peer-review process, this makes for quick dissemination. 
 
In addition, ROMS is a one-stop reference destination: it reviews and analyzes the best marketing research available, from past years’ seminal articles to this year’s best new publications in marketing science. 
 
O’Dell Papers: In collaboration with the American Marketing Association (AMA), ROMS features each year’s O’Dell Award winner (a paper published five years earlier that made the most significant contribution to marketing science). ROMS recognizes the interdisciplinary nature of marketing and so seeks to publish articles with managerial, quantitative and behavioral orientations. The common theme among ROMS articles is the relationship of research to marketing management issues. ROMS emphasizes substantive results that stimulate other researchers as they pursue their work. With this in mind, ROMS is especially interested in papers that may be considered controversial by some, papers that report early results that will be further developed but over a longer time horizon, and papers that offer a broad overview and survey of topics that are currently interesting to many researchers. For a paper to be accepted it must report original research (exceptions being survey papers) and contain novel results that are relevant to marketing researchers and/or practitioners. Main articles should be broadly consistent with the "Aims and Scope" of Review of Middle East Economics and Finance, and be approximately 5,000—7,000 words in length. They should include an abstract of no more than 200 words. Notes on certain topics, especially policy issues, may be considered for publication and should be in the range of 2,000—3,000 words. Book reviews should be in the range of 1,000—2,000 words.

The Review of Network Economics seeks to help policy makers, academics, and practitioners keep informed of new research and policy debate in network economics and related subjects that are relevant to the study of network industries.  
 
By publishing high quality research on topical issues relevant to network industries, it is hoped readers will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the economic issues involved and that this will improve the quality of decision making by private and public organisations, and debate among researchers. The articles can cover specific network industries, or may deal with general issues that have relevance to a number of different network industries, including topics in the economics of networks, regulation, competition law, or industrial organisation. Papers that provide insights into policy debates are especially welcome, as are up-to-date surveys, book reviews, and comments.  
 
Since 2002, the Review of Network Economics (RNE) has been a leading forum for new insights in network economics, providing essential reading for anyone interested in the economics of network industries. Publishing high quality theoretical and empirical research, along with surveys and reviews that either cover specific industries or have relevance to multiple different network industries, the journal seeks to keep academics, policy makers, and practitioners informed of new research and policy debate in network economics and related subjects. Specific sectors of interest include (but are not limited to) energy, market exchanges and intermediaries, media, on-line services, payment systems, postal services, software platforms, telecommunications and transportation networks. Published quarterly in March, June, September, and December, the Review of Network Economics is committed to promoting a deeper understanding of the economic issues that underpin such network industries.
